  1. As with most lease fleets, they’re a bunch of different units from different lineages. This one was originally ex-Conrail nee-PC GP38-2 unit.

  2. Apparently GATX is their own paint skeme..I was thinking an ex Conrail with a white almost hand painted nose…or an EMD demo… anyone know the history of owners of these units, ex owners and so forth? How many were ordered.. and apparently they were GP40′s rebuilt into GP38-2′s.
