CN local 518 splitting the signals at Tate Road Trenton heading to Cobourg. The hoppers are loaded just out of the Tri county mill in Trenton.2926 has to be one of the longest assigned units to Belleville. Arrived early May and still there as of October 17th. The second unit assigned to 518 has been changed out three times since,'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

Next  eb and wb passenger trains made up of RDC,s. Besides the tie gang working, a ballast train made up of a single GP9 and about 12 orange ballast cars headed east. just as the ballast train cleared the west bound Amtrak with two F40s and 10 cars made its appearance.  And now our picture. CN work extra RS18 3113 has finely been given permission to proceed. The unit will go along the north shop lead past the car department, then back up on the south side of the London auxiliary back across rectory street to pick up its train of gondolas, an american crane and transfer caboose. The gondolas where filled with large corrugated pipes. The work extra headed east to parts unknown as i headed home for some sleep. a nice morning spent at CN and there constable only stopping to say good morning.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

Upon arrival at agincourt yard the train will pull down to the signals at McCowan road holding the north main for a crew change.Mechanical staff from the diesel shop will give the power a quick inspection and clean the cab. Once their new track mobile is clear of the rails loading will begin. The siding has a 7 car capacity. Two loads have been pushed to the south. The bridge in the background is the CN Kingston sub. This is at mile 32.18 on CN,s old Marmora sub. The last existing portion of the line from Marmora to Trenton. CN normally switches the mill on Thursdays and Sundays. Access to the line is from a connecting track just east of the Via station at Quinte west/ Trenton.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

Here on its first trip in to Toronto MPI SD40m-2 9019 sits ready for service. The 18 cylinder engine has been replaced with a 16 cylinder EMD 645e3, and all the electrical has been updated to dash 2 standards.
