The Waterloo Central Railway "Santa Train" is crossing the bridge over the Conestogo River in St. Jacobs, as it starts its round trip to Elmira and back, on this lovely wintry morning.

VIA Train #84 is heading into Kitchener from Stratford, with Engine 914 leading the usual four passenger cars. The train will continue on, to eventually drop most of its passengers off at Union Station in Toronto. The track is flanked by sumac and other falll-coloured bushes that tells us the season without having to look at the date. The picture was taken from the overpass on Ira Needles Boulevard between Victoria St and University St.

VIA train #84 is making its way east out of Kitchener heading to Guelph and ultimately to Union Station in Toronto. I took this photo standing on the Walter Bean Trail in Kolb Park. The train is on an incline nearing the trestle bridge that crosses over the Grand River, near Breslau, Ontario.
