The final Super Continental after the Pepin cuts prepares for a 20:00 departure from Vancouver on November 16, 1981. It was reinstated in 1985, then cut again 1990 and The Canadian moved to it's route. 6607 was the trailing B unit. The slow shutter speed has captured a nice fan of water leaking from the fill hose attached to 6507.

The Confederation train ran across Canada in 1967 to celebtate 100 years of Canada. MY grandfather took this photo at the Edmonton Exhibition grounds while the train was on display in late February 1967. The GPS location is approximate, based on where I think it was. It's a faded slide, with digital restoration.

What's more Canadian than kids wearing Hudson's Bay touques coming to see the CP holiday train? I was at Cochrane, Alberta to see the train and spotted this family and decided to be a be a artistic with the camera, rather than just another shot of the train.
