Time to spray the weeds along the CPKC Windsor Subdivision. After sitting in London for 3 days CPKC SD60 #6222, with Train 4WWI-30, finally made it's way toward Windsor to take care of those pesky weeds. Here 6222 is at MP 88 of the CPKC Windsor Subdivision, just west of Haycroft, Ontario (where the mill in the background resides). Personally, based on the vegetation along the ROW, I think they are spraying fertilizer b/c it always seems to get worse after they do this each year, but it's nothing that a good hand sickle and a little time can't fix. :-)' height='150' width='200' />
I had heard that the "Lumi" set was on it and I wanted to try to get it with a bit of Fall color, but b/c it was running so late I was already home. When I saw that it had left Chatham I headed over to the VIA tracks in Belle River and, after waiting for what seems like forever, got this shot of "Lumi" in behind Rona. Turned out not too bad, but had really hoped for more color in the trees. Oh well.... Next year.' height='150' width='200' />
