VIA Rail Train 692 headed toward Winnipeg, MB at a stop in Dauphin, MB next to one of the two Dauphin Rail 125 commemorative benches. Dauphin, MB celebrated 125 years of rail service in 2021 and the benches were placed to commemorate that occasion.

This reportedly is the first train leaving Dauphin, MB for Winnipeg, MB approximately December 16, 1896. The railway was the Lake Manitoba Railway and Canal Company that was the predecessor to Canadian Northern Railway owned by William Mackenzie and Donald Mann. This was one of two 4-4-0 locomotives for use by the LMR&CC and was locomotive No.3.
