The previous day, 238 and 236 were both in the yard when they encountered an issue with a tree over the rails. The time taken to remove the tree and inspect the track to ensure it was safe enough to use, also took the time that CN had planned for both of these trains to show up on their side. By the time both these trains were ready to blast off to the states, CN wouldn't take them due to the fact CSX wouldn't take them. CN doesn't want these trains tied up at Fort Erie.

With room for only one train at Welland, the yardmaster had decided that 236 would tie down on the CASO for the night and 238 would make their way down to Rusholme Siding for the night since there was no cars in storage at this time. The next day, as seen in the photo above, 238 began shoving their train up through the North Crossovers and back into the yard before finally taking of for the border sometime after.' height='150' width='200' />
As the train approached Southern Yard with a Welded Tube car, some other cars for CP and 1 Tank of Sulpher Dioxide on the tail, I knew exactly what the next steps were. The remaining cars were dropped and the One tank of O2S was the only car left on the train. The crew then called to "Pass Stop Signal 162 at Yager and Proceed via Humberstone Spur Track". The crew reversed the switch for the Spur and began their journey down for the lone industry in Port Colborne, Vale. A rare movement made even more rare considering Vale does not take Chlorine like they used to. Here they are seen passing under Highway 140 at Yager West beginning their trip down. They would return light power to Port Robinson.' height='150' width='200' />
