Exeter station near 100 Mile House BC was at one time a very busy spot generating numerous car loads of wood products, wood chips etc for the railway. There used to be 3 sawmills, a plywood plant, small oil bulk plant, TOFC ramp, freight shed and a track for unloading grain and salt, later years there was a OSB (oriented strand board) plant.

Times have changed and the last industry there, West Fraser Lumber will cease operations end of December 2025. The closing of the sawmill will be a great hardship for the village of 100 Mile House. Also the mill closing is a death nell for the former BC Rail between Williams Lake and Squamish, approximately 270 rail miles perhaps never to have trains again...' height='150' width='200' />
