After unsuccessfully heading to Moose Jaw hoping to catch 6644 only to find it hidden on the shop track with its stripes visible, I ended up with some luck. 8810 was starting its journey out of the yard and I knew I could get ahead of it as long as the sun held up long enough. In fading light CP 8810 helds east out of Pasqua where it will be held in Belle Plaine before continuing on to further points east.

You never know what you will find when you head out track side. I was driving into Pasqua to capture the days CP action when I found this scene. CN 79133 which has routes dating back to a boxcar built in 1918 sits next to the former CN station from Truax SK. The caboose and station are located off of Railway Ave in Pasqua which is where the CP Indian Head and CP Weyburn subs meet before heading into Moose Jaw.

CP 8729 leading CP 8507 sits on the Weyburn sub waiting for a 2 westbounds and an eastbound to pass before connecting onto the Indian Head sub and heading into Moose Jaw. Due to dimensional load clearance restrictions, the train held on the main while the sidings heading into Moose jaw cleared.

EFCX 1003 sits outside the G3 facility just outside of Pasqua SK. The locomotive is sitting beside the CP Indian Head sub with the facility on the back end of a large U that holds 134 cars, leading to the terminal in the background.

After briefly stopping in Craven to throw a switch, CP 8807 starts its climb out of the Qu'appelle River Valley with a string of empty grain cars in tow.
