For those of you not familiar with the area, this is located in Ajax, ON between Westney Rd. and Church St, looking to the west.

Crews have been working around the clock to clean up the aftermath of a decent-sized derailment. I drove around the area and could not believe the amount of trucks and workers on the scene. It truly is amazing to see how quick and effective these guys can be during the clean up process!' height='150' width='200' />
Nice to finally be able to knock this one off the bucket list.
Cherrywood was a popular location for everyone chasing this move, as it is typically the last shot of the day. There had to be close to 20 foamers on the embankment; both local and from all over. In addition to that, another 4-5 at the grade crossing and flying drones.
What most don't know (and I forgot to mention to those there) is that this shot will not be available much longer, as the City of Pickering plans to extend 3rd Concession to a new subdivision on the northeast side of the valley. The result being a new roadway that will span the valley directly north of the bridge (essentially between where I'm standing and where the tracks are).
So, be thankful for what you have, and take advantage of it while you can! I was very happy to have shot this one in my all-time favourite location along the Belleville Subdivision. I'm sure everyone there will appreciate their shots in a few years, once this is no more.' height='150' width='200' />
