Hillsborough Railway Museum, New Brunswick, houses this elegant branch line 4-6-0 inside a steel building with other irreplaceable locos and cars, spared from the disasterous fire of several decades back. Sadly, the line has been abandoned and the little museum is no longer to run excursions. That has not dampened enthusiastic support of the the museum. THe ten-wheeler is tucked way back inside the building, making photography difficult.

One of three surviving "Bullet Nose Betty" 4-8-2 Mountains. 6069 is well displayed with fresh paint and regular maintenance. She sits along a live spur track and is illuminated in a populated area. Just a beautiful example of her class and design.

CNR 5702, freshly repainted and ready for indoors display at ExpoRail. One of the fast Hudsons with 80" drivers. The regal CNR paint scheme just sets the locomotive apart as a Canadian icon of speed and luxury trains.

Outdoors of the Museum of Science and Technology, CNR #6200 is well secured and well maintained by Museum staff. We might prefer to see her under a shed, but still looks quite fine as she is today.

Despite the amount of pigeon poop, over grown and untended gardens, and the lack of paint, former CNR 5270 has a weather shed and formidable fence, to protect it. Some vandalism has occurred, but with the cab welded shut and windows sealed, not to mention a roof over it, the Pacific has potential for eventual restoration.
