With some fresh snow falling, new potash train "B730" rounds an S-Curve at Renforth, New Brunswick. This is the first of a rumoured 50 Canpotex potash trains to be run between Saskatchewan and Saint John, New Brunswick. CN 2879 and CN 2934 were pushing on the rear of this 18,000 ton train.

CN 3004 and 2941 lead a small 63 car westbound '406' train shortly after passing through the town of Sussex, New Brunswick. A new location for me to shoot, as this was taken hear the Highway 1 overpass. I was standing on the embankment, so no chance in getting run over.

HLCX 6340, a former Southern Pacific SD40 leads a rare daylight New Brunswick Southern Railway eastbound mixed freight, approaching NBSR's Saint John yard limits. NBSR 6200 and NBSR 6318 are the other units, both former HLCX units, but that are now owned by the NBSR.

CN 5691 leads the daily "Q121" stacker across the nearly 4,000 foot "Salmon River Trestle" in New Denmark, New Brunswick. Always worth getting a shot of this massive structure when I'm in this area, even if it's only once or twice a year.

A bit of a hike to get here, but it was worth it. CN 8103 leads an all blue head end lashup, crossing over the trestle at Saint Eleuthere, Quebec, along the Pelletier Sub. BCOL 4651 and 4646 were the other two blue units. 2893 was working DP about 3/4 of the way back.
