CP 5863 was one of only two remaining units on the CP roster with the full-sized multimark (the other was CP 5911).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Fast forward to 2016, and there are very few active SD40-2&#039;s on the active CP roster, the rest are all in storage. I miss seeing them on trains, and even just shunting in the yards. At least they were operating.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

This track used to be part of the CN Oak Point Subdivision, which CN abandoned in 1996. 2.7 miles in the city survived, and CP uses it to serve a few industries in northwestern Winnipeg. Although CP serves it, it still has CN stickers on the crossings. A crossing was replaced recently, and it was given CN Oak Point Sub stickers. Go figure.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

<a href="http://www.railpictures.ca?attachment_id=25943" target="_blank"> <img src='http://www.railpictures.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Aviary-Photo_131169497024878172-200x150.jpg' class='ps_images' alt='Ex-BNSF 1685 has just coupled up to the historic 100+ year old Prairie Dog Central passenger cars, and is getting ready to file them away into the shed. This unit was built in 1957 for Manitoba Great Northern Railway, but was painted in Midland Railway of Manitoba colours as locomotive number 2. In 1971, it became Burlington Northern Manitoba 2, then in 1999 it became BNSF Manitoba 1685. It was retired in 2007 and donated to the PDC in 2010.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

The yellow one is a GE 50T built in May of 1947, and the red one is a Canada Cement GE 15T built in April of 1955. They are in pretty poor condition, and I imagine they are both inoperable. The yellow unit has moved in the last 10 years, but not under its own power, just being moved from one place to another in Winnipeg. They are both on rails, and connected to an active rail line. They are at the very end of a section of industrial spur tracks.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>
