According an information placard nearby, the City of Rockland-Clarence owns the building and VIA rail the land.

From looking at other submissions of this station it appears that little has been done to restore the exterior of the building.

The crossing ahead of me is Fertilizer Road while behind me the end of track is somewhere in the bushes.With the bridge west of Delhi out of commission there hasn&#039;t been a train down here in years (2013 according to Wikipedia).Out of frame, to my left, is the parking lot for the Simcoe/Delhi Railtrail which follows the abandoned roadbed of the Cayuga sub over to Simcoe, ending short of where the overpass over hwy 24 once stood.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

About 2 hours, and 20 miles later, I would catch him again crossing the Trent/Severn waterway.'  height='150' width='200' /></a><br>

I suspect that this line was abandoned sometime around 1960, or whenever Trent University built their campus (just off to the left of this picture).

Anyone have any idea when this section of track was abandoned?

Located on the former Great Western Railway mainline, between St. George and Paris Junction. This was built to allow the farmer, who owned the land, access to his fields to the south.

This line was built in 1853, the line was closed by Canadian National in 1932 and the rails lifted, from Paris to St. George in 1938.
