I was actually on the canadian twice. My first trip was from Toronto to Vancouver, it was not disappointing at all. Great food, great staff, great passengers, and magnificent views. I was lucky enough to win this trip off of a silent auction and got the tickets for half price both ways. We stopped in many different towns/ city’s like Perry sound, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Jasper, and finally Vancouver. There was lots of site seeing, so i had to wake up early not to miss anything special. Lots of wildlife out by the rails as well. I met a via engineer on the train and was lucky enough to have dinner with him. He talked about his life on the rails and gave me a via rail keychain. He told me it’s always better to work for passenger rail companies then freight companies because you the times when you’re going to work as suppose to being called in at anything time of the day/ night. Definitely a trip i’d highly recommend everyone to take. You won’t be disappointed.' height='150' width='200' />
