Out of the 175, 2 were retired, CN 5658 retired in 3/1997 due to a washout accident on March 26, 1997 at Conrad, BC. CN5753 retired in 1/2000 in a fire/collision accident on December 30, 1999 at Benoit [St-Hilaire], Quebec.
