Originally built as D&H 4068, the RS3 later went on to a number of shortlines including the Lamoille Valley and York-Durham Heritage RR as their 7801. D-L purchased 7801 from YDHR to restore to operating condition to operate with their other 2 ex-D&H RS3\’s in freight service.
