   Circa 1978 Alliston is a  Flag Stop, nevertheless passenger service is daily.

		<description>We boarded the southbound Canadian at Alliston a year or so before this photo was taken. There was an agent at the time. As #12 got later and darkness fell, the agent replaced the flag with two lanterns: one green and one white. I had never experienced that personally before.</description>
