&#8230;you likely have seen this mining artifact – located near the tourist office – and is not a &#8216;preservation&#8217; but more like an archaeological relic.


From the Kozak Mine ( closed circa 1930) near Hawk Junction, this is a recovered gold mine mucking machine with a shaft bucket. 


It appears that the mucker was compressed air powered.


Track appeared to be about 22 inch gauge.
