<title>Comments on: 1.	Taking water at Inglewood. Water tanks were everywhere along railways. This style of wooden structure was used to protect the tank inside being heated to keep water from freezing. Years after steam ended this tank supplied water to residents of the tiny hamlet of Inglewood too small to even be a village.

Note: Water tanks in cities and towns were filled from municipal water pipes while other methods were used in smaller communities. Cataract’s tank was filled from a higher level pond while Markdale was filled by a windmill</title>
