Comments on: 584 is coming up the hill to the junction switch at Kerensky with an unbelievable train of boxcars. The units and cars create an impression of a time period much earlier than 1987. This train typically goes through town in the morning, how fortunate to have it come late at 18:30. Morning would have offered few spots for capturing a train this size.

Thank you for the comments everyone. :-)
It was kind of a bonus day track side. All the noise of those boxes going by, plus, the units are purring to get that big string of empties up the hill. That is a good point about the graffiti, there was spray bombs way before 1987, why, in what seems a short time, did rail cars become the preferred canvas?
