<title>Comments on: A blast from the recent past (literally) as an OSR plow extra reverses to make a 2&#8242;nd pass on a peksy drift on the St. Thomas sub. Watching are a gaggle of photographers, including James (Jim) A. Brown (centre). While I don&#8217;t have the full story, Jim had a long career in the Railroad industry and is a noted photographer in our circles. Before retirement he was the General Manager of the Waterloo-St Jacobs railway and was instrumental in getting the F units for that operation. WSJR was forced into Bankruptcy around 1999, and after over a decade the affairs were settled, whether Jim arranged/nudged it or not, 6508 was OSR&#8217;s first F unit acquisition in 2013 with the other going to a museum out west. In a private ceremony yesterday witnessed by his family and friends, OSR 6508 now carries Jim&#8217;s name, and took a tour of the OSR in his memory. (Next photo).</title>
