Comments on: A clear blue dome of Arctic air is keeping it cold and clear over Alberta as CN 5055 heads east on the Prairie North Line. This bridge is gone now, CN built a new line bypassing Fort Saskatchewan and crossing the North Saskatchewan River on the east side of town.

This bridge has a number of memories attached to it. Same with the track going right through downtown Fort Saskatchewan. The west end of the bridge being wooden seemed odd when so much of it is steel and concrete.

I’m always a sucker for a great bridge shot. And this is really nice!
