Comments on: A father with his sons spending time fishing the Grand River while a train passes over downtown Galt on a cool summer evening.
Gotta love these summer evenings. My summer routine allows me a few nights to try my hand at a photo from the north side of River Bluffs Park in Galt – Bill Miller turned me on to this spot a few years ago and normally a couple trains was easy, four was a good night. Now if you get one, you are doing well – things really have changed on the ‘ol CP. This was my fourth attempt this season, and my first getting a train before the sun sets for good. With this in hand any evening photography I do in August 2017 will have to be elsewhere – this sure is a keeper.

Marvellous!!! First glance, I thought this was at Muskoka. :o) The timing was good, it looks like another 10 minutes and you would have been out of sunlight.
