Comments on: A few miles south of Chatsworth, CPR/Credit Valley 136 and 1057 power the return leg of a Toronto – Owen Sound excursion on Thanksgiving Weekend run by Ontario Rail. The train has just crossed Concession 2 and is approaching the crossing at Highway 10. Not too much farther down the line issues with bad coal will delay the trip for 11 hours.More shots from the trip by Arnold Mooney:Morning at Owen Sound.Pausing at Chatsworth proper. The rescue crew at Markdale.Bryce Lee Photo, Jacob Patterson Collection Slide.

Sure. I remember the runby. I walked as far south as I could get for a clearing, just to the south side of a creek bridge...but wasn't pleased with my shot. Due to the time of the year, unless you were by the road with everyone else, the weeds and other growth were a bit too high for a clear shot.

That'd do it. Do you remember if the stop at Chatsworth included a runby? I think I came across some footage of it.

Good coal on the way up; then the sacks of coal for the return, from a different source, proved of a poor grade for proper firing.
