<title>Comments on: A glimpse back 30 years ago today, April 11, 1991. A beautiful day at Bayview. It was still rather common to see some big MLWs rolling; but we all knew they were on their way out, as not that many were in the lead position any more. Not much green yet, after a typical winter. Average, I&#8217;d say. After all, the year 2021 had not much of a winter. Foliage is at least 2 weeks ahead this spring.
As seen from the Plains Rd (former hwy 2) bridge mid-afternoon; CN 9419, 2314 and 2013 rumbles westbound.</title>
