Comments on: A GMD-1 is shoving CP 8531 into the shops at CAD on a gloomy afternoon. JLCX 1204 was built as CN 1070 in 1960 and was later renumbered to CN 1170 before being retired by CN in 2005. CP 8531 is a 1998 product of GE’s Erie shops.

I snapped GMD 1 CN 1170 in a deadline at the ONR yard in North Bay, ON May 4, 2004. I’ll try and make the photo presentable for posting on RP.
