The main reason for three geeps is the mountain grades on this line – two sections of 2.0 percent and a decent grade going into Toyota proper which is this jobs raison d’etre. Wet leaves, snow make it difficult for just two.

It will – this crew was probably headed to triple metal to lift loads and spot this empty – then go to GEXR to lift about 20 cars from the interchange. Empty autoracks are picked up and loaded are dropped off once per day – there are two shifts per day on the Grand River Railway hagey job – Toyota makes this a very important part of the line – the CN cars are just as hot as the CP’s.

Its a wonder how long the ex-Grand River Railway will continue to exist with one car for delivery.
I suspect they will be pulling a larger cut of cars from GEXR or other industries on the line with 3 Geeps for power?
