Comments on: A late Christmas present from CN. I’m wrapping up a mini-chase with CN 107 and GO 625 north of Toronto when I get the word that CN Q101 has CN 2501 (Canadian Safety Cab Dash 9) leading coming out of Brampton. Turn on the scanner and low and behold, CN 101 is asking about CN 105s location on the York and it is passing Mac yard. A couple trains later (Z114 in Gormley and Q105 minutes earlier), CN 101 makes its way north with a gorgeous sounding mechanical bell on the front end of CN 2501. A little bonus was the class lights activated on the C44-9WL. Everyone is talking about the Dash 8s being on borrowed time but I don’t think these won’t be around for too much longer either. http://www.railpictures.ca The BEST Canadian photos on the Internet, eh?
