Comments on: A late December (Boxing Day’s Boxing Day!) morning finds Stelco SW900 No. 84 (GMD November 1959) quietly awaiting her next assignment. Note the alternate AAR Type B trucks styles; converted under the front end, roller bearing under the rear of the unit. Note also that her safety orange dress appears to match the lower section of the pipe bridge support tower to the left. I used to find excuses to go this way out of the plant to see if I could find equipment laying around here. This would be at the very end of Wilcox street if you continued through the gates and under the old high line.

Very nice – I think they still park engines just up the track a bit at top left (perhaps a bit more behind that building) – but this track (West side) is otherwise buried right now and unused.
