From the Lac La Biche area to Fort McMurray, good roads were not available until later in the 90's. Which brought about the end of this novel Mixed train. There were at least 2 other nearly identical combooses I believe. At least 2 have been saved, one on display in Fort Mac, the other actually still runs on rails at Fort Edmonton Park in our river valley (a little loop railroad, like Stanley Park). :-) Thanks for your interest.
