<title>Comments on: A little over 30 years ago I moved from Edmonton to Hamilton. Before my first month in Hamilton was over I found my way to Dundas station to photograph trains. I&#8217;m not 100% certain that this is the first train I shot there but it&#8217;s the first one I have a scan of. Since then I have taken hundreds of photos in this general area. I probably still make it up there a couple of times a year, I went out there today for the first time in 2017. The No Stopping signs along Highway 8 and the Trail Closed signs where the Bruce Trail goes up the bank to the tracks didn&#8217;t look like positive signs but I walked up anyway. There was a CN Police officer parked near where the trail crossed the tracks. He was stopping all hikers and informing them that &#8220;technically&#8221; they were trespassing. Anyways the more interesting part of our conversation, besides hearing about the day he had to come out and move a wedding party off the right of way, is that CN is working on a plan to convey a right of way to the Bruce Trail and the right of way will be fenced off. I&#8217;m guessing that will kill all remaining photo angles. It was fun while it lasted! Given what I have seen numerous hikers and daisy pickers doing on the right of way over the years I&#8217;m surprised that CN didn&#8217;t close the area off years ago.

Train #725 ran between Stelco&#8217;s Hamilton and Lake Erie mills. It ran with a van on both ends to facilitate running around the train in Brantford.</title>
