Comments on: A matching set of Montreal Locomotive Works-built C424′s (CP 4216 leading 4207, 4204, 4209 and 4222) sit on the head end of their train at the south end of Kinnear Yard, ready to depart down the Hamilton Sub with an acid train. Originally built in the mid 60′s as road freight units and later rebuilt in the early 1980′s for roadswitcher work, power-short CP kept their fleet of 4-axle C424 “Centuries” in service well into the 90′s until the last few retired in 1998. I’m not sure if Bill and Reg Button were chasing this train together, but Reg managed to shoot it further down the line at both Brookfield and outside of Niagara Falls.
