<title>Comments on: A pair of ALCO-244 powered units sit behind Lambton Park waiting for a signal to reverse into Lambton Yard. The 4042, an MLW FA-2 built in 1951 would survive until a fire in 1974 sidelined the unit, resulting in scrapping at Angus shops shortly after. The 4404, an MLW FB-1 built in 1950 would be retired in 1977 to be rebuilt into a robot car. After the engine was removed and the unit renumbered AN-24, it would be scrapped before the rebuild was completed.</title>
