Comments on: A peaceful silence is broken as the sound of growling GEVO’s and steel girders resonate across the Speed River. CP train 255 is hustling through Galt, the engines growling as the hogger notches up to tackle the grade to Orrs lake. Below a few birds take flight, fearful of the noise from above, but we don’t mind, do we :) For the photographers – This photo is a combination of two techniques – a pan shot, AND a silhouette at the same time. I haven’t really had the opportunity to try this since (You need really low light!) and now it’s your turn to judge.
