<title>Comments on: A quiet winter Saturday in a CP yard in Red Deer, Alberta over 40 years ago.
Five similar uncut GP9&#8242;s were resting in the yard: CP 8812, 8818, 8833 plus CP 8836 and another (8539?).
Seems to me the unknown photographer was pushing his luck, bringing along spouse, children, and pet dog (good that it&#8217;s on a leash). Hopefully he had permission to be there &#8211; nowadays not tolerated.
A yard at the edge of Red Deer on the CP line to South Edmonton has been mapped, may not be exact.</title>
