I was too young to know this place when it meant something... In 1998, a friend and I got off the Budd Cars here and caught a ride on a northbound ACR freight to Hearst... The next day we rode the passenger down to Sault... The day after that, we rode a CP boxcar on a northbound ACR, knowing they would dump it at Franz... A day later, a CPR freight took our box car, with us still in it, to White River. Many great memories. I am so sad…
