Comments on: A trio of GP9′s (CN 7226, CN 7054 & CN 7083) are switching Pointe St-Charles Yard. Behind them is the Montreal Sub and behind that is the skyline of downtown Montreal. In front of them are tracks leading to the AMT Pointe-Saint-Charles Maintenance Centre. This is the view from a new park that overlooks the yard just west of it, along Sebastopol Street.

It's certainly not unheard of here in Montreal, I've seen this job with three GP9's from time to time (though 2 GP9's or 1 GP9 & a GP38-2 are much more common)

3 GP9's (no slug or GP38 mixed in), this seems like a rare event to me. I would have to go back a long time in my memory to recall a similar scene. There is almost always a slug in there somewhere here in the Edmonton area.
