Things fell apart quickly as the power they were lifting from 247 couldn’t pass the brake test failing to release. After some extensive troubleshooting the decision was made 3 hours later to cut and run with the original power/train, after cutting away from 247′s power they had their own issues releasing brakes! The train would eventually depart Spence that night after 4 or 5 hours of delay with CP 6254/CP 5833/CP 5943/CP 5866/CP 3038/CP 3021 and 17 cars towards a recrew near Bala.
