<title>Comments on: A visit to North Bay, ON in the summer of 1987 found the CP shop buildings almost deserted, making an almost unobstructed photo of the east/south side of the complex possible. I&#8217;m not exactly sure of the location on the &#8216;locator map&#8217; but just took a stab at it and would appreciate being corrected. I understand the shop buildings came down in the 1990s to free up land for the complete development of a waterfront park on Lake Nipissing. Ottawa Valley now operates the CP trackage in an agreement @1996, tracks relocated west of old CP main, away from historic CP station, and there a small yard in town. Extensive residental/commercial/park redevelopment of the old CPR lands has taken place. (Currently the parks development alone, at $7.8M, is overbudget.)</title>
