Steve, this is beautiful! Another of your 'Newfoundland Gems'! When travelling from Whitbourne to St. George's in the 1970's by Roadcruiser, Gambo was the first railway station stop I encountered heading west since leaving the one in St. John's. All the stops in between were either at various highway junctions, Irvings or in the case of Clarenville, a Holiday Inn. My wife grew up in Gambo and hanging around the station was a popular pastime!
