Comments on: A westbound CN freight storms through Stewarttown, just southwest of Georgetown, on the CN Halton Sub. The signals along the Halton Sub between Burlington and Georgetown are still mainly searchlight signals, so I try to capture images of trains along these portions of mainline. I’m not quite sure of this train symbol, and it was a heavy train, but the power was an aged C44-9W, No. 2602, IC 2699, CN 5445 and CN 4130. Time around 13:50.

That’s what I was thinking – 435. But the cars didn’t seem like the usual 435 cars.

Was indeed 435. I caught it at Brampton GO. Car control was calling them 435 as I was waiting. had 794 axles per the detector at mile 13.

13:50. It could be 435 headed to London. If there were autoracks and tank cars with mixed freight on the tail end it would be 435.
