I have many fond memories of spending hours in this area at all times of the day listening to the constant battle of EMD’s, GE’s and MLW’s fighting the grade here, some losing that battle too. Much has changed at the junction over the years but the battle has not. Here a 10,00 foot 651 with mixed traffic up front fights its own battle as it heads westward with a CP and UP ES44 in charge.
