<title>Comments on: Above the Don: TTC A7-class PCC 4462 is operating on the busy Queen streetcar route, MU&#8217;ed with an A12-class ex-Cleveland PCC (4675-4699 series). Both are crossing from downtown into the Riverdale part of Toronto, over the old Queen Street bridge spanning the Don River, the CN-CP rail corridor, Don Valley Parkway and Bayview Avenue. Built in 1911, this truss bridge spanned the river and eliminated an at-grade crossing with the rail lines below, and continues to handle automobile and King, Queen, McCaul and Kingston Rd. streetcar traffic today.

Railway related note: the Ace Warehouse Company building to the right (behind the bridge) was once served by a rail spur off CN&#8217;s Bala Sub that crossed Bayview Avenue.
