<title>Comments on: After finishing a few of the minor switching tasks in BIT near Queen st, CN gp9rm 7264 has throttled up and ran about a mile north to lift a long set of intermodel cars likley set out by CN 148 earlier in the afternoon on the second main track. In this scene here the geep is throttling up (as you can see from the steam-like substance coming out of the top of the unit) and will run the train north for a mile or so to allow the rear of the train to clear a switch that leads off the main into BIT. 7264 will then reverse the mammoth train into BIT so the containers can be unloaded. The crossing I was standing at is Ward rd and just south of the crossing is where the single track pullback line splits into 3 track and just a mile south of here on the east lies the busy Brampton Intermodel Terminal. The Industrial building hidden on the left known as T&amp;T Marble Granite is one of the many industries that reside in this area. Kind of a funny fact, this 2-3 mile pullback track is known as the North Park Industrial Lead but for a long time it did not service any of the industries in this area. It was used as a pullback for the intermodel trains and nothing more. The pullback line ends at Chrysler who intended to use rail service right when they were built in the mid 80s but some particular ‘noise issues’ got in the way. Late in 2014 however, they added a new facility next to their plant to ship automobiles out by rail and that operating seems to be a success as to the present day CN still makes a trip to their plant for autoracks several times a week early in the morning and there seems to be no complaints about any noise.</title>
