		<description>That is a semi-automatic switch (the diamond shaped target is the giveaway). Spring switches must be marked with a sign bearing the letters &quot;SS&quot;.  Semi-automatic switches are a lot more user-friendly and much more common.</description>

		<description>Very nice Michael, interesting to see a BNSF unit operating in local CN service in Montreal. There are some of them operating in Aldershot/Hamilton/Brantford area, didn’t think they got as far as Montreal. Question - is that a spring switch 2302 is about to enter or are they waiting for the conductor to get down and throw it ? Thanks for sharing, John</description>
