Comments on: After lifting IGPC Ethanol, the engineer eases the “Cayuga Clipper” back to St Thomas past the 1940’s built CNR coal tower in Aylmer on the now out of service Cayuga Spur. The tower served CN and Wabash trains throughout the steam era and I assume was built here in Aylmer as it’s the rough half way mark from the train’s Fort Erie to Windsor route. Had the chance for sun but clouds took control unfortunately but I’m still very glad I have this scene documented

@bradketchen no more rail service in the south end of Tillsonburg, they may get transloaded from the north end to the south end by truck if there’s a need but I am unaware on that but for now, the north end Future Transfer is the only rail service Tillsonburg sees

@liam right I know Future Transfer have another location on OSR’s line proper. But the one on ex-Cayuga spur. Is that still active?

@bradketchen, It is sad to see it go, they still get cars for Furture Transfer at least but all serviced from the north end

Nice one Liam. I used to model IGPC. Nice to see another documentation of the former run of the Cayuga Clipper. Sad to see it all go. The tracks at IGPC were relatively new when I visited there, as were the yard at Future Transfer at Tillsonburg, stuffed with tank cars.
