At the time I believe trains 512/513 ( I may have the numbers wrong) were the most interesting, often with a mix of CP and I&M Railink power. Of course I preferred the IMRL SD45’s over the SD40’s, but you take what you get. The CP 4-axle MLW's were still operating at the time of this photo, however their numbers were quickly dwindling down. I shot several of them in May of 1998. By the summer they were all retired. Nice consist!
