Comments on: After the SOU 6141 with N&W 1518 shared the spotlight with CN’s 6060 steam engine over the past few days, the train (inc some Roanoke Chapter coaches) left Toronto, the site of the National Railway Historical Society convention that year, for its return trip to the States. There were a number of photographers out along the line up as far as Bayview for this special, but late day times and approaching really miserable weather resulted in only one photographer by the time the train made Niagara Falls. Well, two, if you include “the Sidekick” watching the proceedings over by the VIA doors. It was dark, raining, and foggy. About as bad as it could get. For the film guys, I shot this with 100 ISO film, 30th (hand held) at 2.8. I’m lucky I got what I did.
