Comments on: After watching the 129th Rose Parade and spurred on by Honda’s leading 3-piece flowered train, I decided to tackle the cold & wind and try for a photo or two of SOR in the Nanticoke area. Good timing as the three freight haulers with a large string of cars were trundling southbound from Garnet Yard. This catch at mp 0.87 represents the first southbound 595 for 2018 and lead by the newest locomotive to visit Walpole RLHH 2111 with stable mates RLHH 3404 and RLHH 3403 trailing. This team will execute a rendezvous with RLHH 2801 at the switch CN Nanticoke prior to heading west on the Stelco Lead with s much shorter string. You gotta feel for the crew in this frigid weather especially the conductor on the ground.

Those new wires going across here and down in Nanticoke are pretty annoying.
